How We Started
It all started with one question:
“Can you get…?”
And Scott’s answer was always-“Yes!”
Back in early 2019, during the onset of the pandemic, Scott began fielding calls from friends and industry contacts looking for hard-to-find PPE like masks and gloves. With over 20 years in the wholesale beauty world, a massive network, and a “make friends with everyone” attitude, Scott sprang into action. He began sourcing and distributing supplies when the traditional supply chains failed.
By that summer, he was the preferred PPE supplier for over 500 assisted living facilities. Working from a leased family warehouse, Scott offered flexible, on-demand deliveries that didn’t require clients to store large inventories—an essential advantage at the time.
Then came a new request—from a car wash chain struggling with supply costs. Scott got to work, applied his sourcing know-how, and solved their problem. One win led to another, and Beach Break was born. He started with a single storage unit for deliveries and quickly expanded to three. From there, it grew into uniforms, air fresheners, bottles, triggers, and more.
Scott chose Ohio as home base—close to family and friends, and centrally located for fast nationwide shipping. Today, Beach Break supplies products to over 500 locations across the country, helping businesses run smoother with trusted sourcing, personal service, and creative problem-solving.
